Worthington Steel Fiscal Q4 Adjusted Earnings Fall, Revenue Rises; Shares Down After Hours

Worthington Steel (WS) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted net income late Wednesday of $0.74 per diluted share, down from $1.05 a year earlier.

An analyst polled by FactSet expected $0.75.

Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $929.2 million, up from $832.9 million a year earlier.

An analyst polled by FactSet expected $992 million.

The company maintained a quarterly dividend of $0.16 per share, payable on Sept. 29 to shareholders of record on Sept. 15.

Shares were down 6.6% in after-hours activity.
