Calix (CALX) said Wednesday it launched new capabilities for SmartMDU on Calix One platform to offer end-to-end user management capabilities and resident Wi-Fi suspension, giving property manager enhanced control over network access while supporting on-time payments.
Combined with QR code-based self-service activation, residents can connect swiftly, facilitating a premium experience without ramping operating costs, according to a statement.
The company said that the majority of renters are willing to pay higher rents for premium connectivity experiences.
