Anthropic Hiring AI Compute Roles in Japan, Australia

Amazon.com (AMZN)-backed Anthropic is recruiting 13 roles for its compute department, of which eight are based in Australia and Japan, according to a job listing posted on the company's website.

CNBC first reported the news on Thursday.

The department, which is focused on developing and managing artificial intelligence data centers, opened positions for a data center electrical engineer and another for sourcing data center deals in Japan, while the six roles available in Australia are for data center engineers and operators, the listing showed.
