Amazon's (AMZN) Prime Day discounts generated more than $26.4 billion in sales from June 23 to June 26, a 9.3% year-over-year increase, Reuters reported over the weekend, citing Adobe (ADBE) Analytics data.
Discounts during the four-day event encouraged consumers to purchase pricier electronics, toys, appliances, and personal care products, according to the report.
Amazon did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
