0446 GMT - LG Display could post a wider 2Q loss than the market expects due to a one-off cost for business restructuring, Nomura's Eon Hwang and YJ Kim say. The South Korean flat-screen maker's operating loss is expected to come in at around 96 billion won for the April-June period, compared with the market consensus estimate of a 55 billion won loss, the analysts reckon. Excluding the one-off cost, the firm's major business likely improved, they say. Its organic light-emitting diode TV panel sales likely rose 9.7% from a year earlier in 2Q, driven by the World Cup soccer games, with its OLED monitor shipments likely having jumped 86%, they add.
