S&P 500, NASDAQ Head for Best Quarter in Six Years

The U.S. stock market is wrapping up its best quarter in years.

-- The benchmark S&P 500 has climbed 14% this quarter through yesterday, its best three months since the second quarter of 2020, when markets rebounded following a Covid-19 selloff.

-- The tech-focused Nasdaq has fared even better, climbing 20%. It's also on track for its best quarter since 2020's second quarter.

-- The Dow, meanwhile, is up 13%, its best quarter since the end of 2022.
