JetBlue's (JBLU) Flight 948 reportedly struck a drone while approaching the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration said on social media X.

The regulator noted that the pilot reported striking the drone at an altitude of 3,000 feet.

A post-flight inspection did not reveal any damage to the aircraft, the FAA said, noting it will investigate the incident.

JetBlue did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
