Elevra Lithium (ASX:ELV) has broken ground on the North American Lithium expansion project in Canada following completion of its capital raise in May, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Equipment for the project has been ordered to allow for the planned development timeline and reduce schedule risk, the filing said.
The first stage of the project is anticipated to deliver a 15% to 20% increase in annual spodumene concentrate production capacity and a reduction in unit operating costs upon completion in 2027, per the filing.
