Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) said surface drilling at the Kanmantoo copper mine in South Australia confirmed the continuation of the Kavanagh mineralised zone at depth, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 24 meters at 1.69% grade of copper and 0.47 grams per tonne grade of gold from 816 meters downhole, as well as 13 meters at 0.73% grade of copper and 0.11 g/t grade of gold from 798 meters downhole.
Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
