Polyrizon Receives Approval for Human Trial of Nasarix Nasal Spray for Allergic Rhinitis

MT Newswires Live06-29

Polyrizon (PLRZ) said Monday it received approval from the Institutional Review Board, or IRB, to conduct the first human clinical trial for its Nasarix nasal spray for seasonal allergic rhinitis.

The approval confirms that the planned trial's study protocol, patient consent forms, and other materials meet IRB requirements, Polyrizon said.

The trial is designed to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Nasarix compared with a saline spray in blocking airborne allergens, the company added.

Polyrizon also said the approval is valid through June 17, 2027.

Shares of Polyrizon were up more than 1% in early Monday trading.
