Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google will offer SandboxAQ's specialist artificial intelligence models for use in science research to support activities such as drug discovery and semiconductor manufacturing, Bloomberg reported Monday.

The AI models will be offered through Google Cloud, allowing users to combine Google's Gemini AI tool with SandboxAQ's AI systems that are backed by scientific equations and laboratory data, the news outlet said.

AQCat is a SandboxAQ product offered through Google Cloud, designed to identify potential catalyst and materials for applications like semiconductor manufacturing, while the AQPotency model will focus on drug discovery, Bloomberg added.

Google did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
