Emergent BioSolutions (EBS) said Monday it has received a $52.7 million contract modification from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response at the US Department of Health and Human Services.
The contract is to supply ACAM2000 vaccine, ancillaries and diluent replacement lots for smallpox preparedness and response needs, the company said. Deliveries are set to begin this month.
ACAM2000 is indicated for active immunization for the prevention of smallpox and mpox disease, it said.
