New Era Energy & Digital unveiled an executive realignment that included the appointment of Charlie Nelson as chairman and chief executive of the developer of digital infrastructure and integrated power assets.
New Era on Wednesday said Nelson, who has been president and chief operating officer, succeeds E. Will Gray II, who had been CEO since December 2024 and will now serve as Permian president, supporting the Midland, Texas, company's Permian Basin operations.
New Era also said Ted Warner, who joined the company in March as chief financial officer, has taken on the additional post of president and has joined the board, while Jose Rodriguez, who previously held data-center and infrastructure leadership roles at Microsoft, TikTok and Amazon Web Services, has joined the company as chief operating officer.
