Revolution Medicines reported early trial results showed that its experimental drug zoldonrasib produced strong antitumor activity in two combination regimens for patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer.

The late-stage clinical oncology company said Thursday that its drug zoldonrasib showed manageable safety profiles and high response rates in two different treatment approaches.

The company said the drug was tested with standard chemotherapy in previously untreated patients and in a doublet regimen with its RAS$(ON)$ inhibitor daraxonrasib in previously treated patients.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal forms of cancer, often discovered in later stages of development and many cases are often resistant to standard chemotherapy.

Revolution Medicines is advancing the ongoing RASolute 305 trial testing zoldonrasib in combination with standard chemotherapy and is planning the RASolute 309 trial evaluating the combination of zoldonrasib and daraxonrasib.
