Harrow (HROW) has commercially launched Byooviz in the US, expanding its retinal biologics portfolio with an interchangeable biosimilar to Roche's Lucentis, the company said Wednesday.
The FDA-approved therapy treats several retinal conditions, including neovascular age-related macular degeneration, macular edema following retinal vein occlusion, and myopic choroidal neovascularization.
The launch follows its exclusive US commercialization agreement with Samsung Bioepis and strengthens its anti-VEGF ophthalmology portfolio alongside OPUVIZ, IHEEZO, and TRIESENCE, the company added.
