SoftBank Corp. (TYO:9434) and SoftBank Group Corp. (TYO:9984) are forming SB Neo in the U.S., with ownership split at 51% and 49% respectively, to launch neoucloud services, according to a statement on Thursday.

SB Neo will launch neocloud services in fiscal 2027 using SoftBank Group's 10-gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure to supply major U.S. enterprises with computing resources for large-scale AI training and inference.

It will expand capacity in phases to meet strong U.S. demand, eventually deploying infrastructure at the full 10-gigawatt scale.

SoftBank Group's CEO Masayoshi Son emphasized the group's collective commitment to rolling out top-tier AI infrastructure and propelling the AI revolution forward.

SoftBank Corp.'s President Junichi Miyakawa said that construction of the gigawatt-scale AI data centers in Japan will move forward once preparations are complete.
