Sakai Moving Service's Sales Inch Up in June

Sakai Moving Service's (TYO:9039) sales edged up 0.9% year over year to 7.47 billion yen in June, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The relocation company posted sales of 2.65 billion yen in the Kanto region, up 4% from a year earlier, while sales in Chubu and Tokai increased 1.4% to 1.07 billion yen.

Sales in Hokkaido and Tohoku fell 3.2% to 595 million yen.

In the Kansai region, sales edged down 0.3% to 1.42 billion yen. Kyushu and Okinawa sales declined 1.7% to 1.02 billion yen, while Chugoku and Shikoku recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.7% to 517 million yen.
