Spire (SR) has completed the sale of Belle Butte to an affiliate of I Squared Capital for $657 million, the natural gas provider said in a late Tuesday filing.
The company plans to use proceeds from the sale for general corporate purposes, including funding its regulated natural gas utility operations, capital investments, and debt reduction.
Shares rose around 1.2% in after-hours activity.
