Blue Bird Indonesia Set to Benefit from Extended Taxi Driver Working Days

Dow Jones07-01

0512 GMT - Blue Bird Indonesia stands to benefit from the extension of its taxi drivers' working days, Bahana Sekuritas analysts say in a research report. The brokerage's driver channel checks suggest Blue Bird has increased the number of regular working days for taxi drivers to 22 days a month from 20, adding 24 extra working days a year. The brokerage sees this as a near-term earnings catalyst for the Indonesian transportation services provider that hasn't been fully priced into FY 2026 consensus forecasts. Bahana Sekuritas initiates stock coverage with a buy rating and a target price of 2,210.00 rupiah. Shares are 0.3% higher at 1,490.00 rupiah. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
