MT Newswires11:18

Singapore's Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong, highlighted major clean energy partnerships during the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders' Retreat in Jakarta, according to an official Monday release.

The primary agreements include a utility-scale solar project led by Sembcorp Industries (SGX:U96) at the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park. Additionally, Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund, Danantara, signed three separate agreements with Keppel Electric, Sembcorp and Singapore Energy Interconnections.

The agreements lay the groundwork for cross-border electricity trade between the two nations.
