O'Reilly Automotive's potential acquisition of Genuine Parts automotive business at a valuation of $10 billion or more could provide greater scale and geographic reach, though the strategic merits remain unclear, UBS Securities said.
Shares of O'Reilly fell 5.5%, with an intraday trading volume of over 7.83 million from a daily average of about 6.81 million.
