Children's Place (PLCE) board has appointed Muhammad Asif Seemab, currently a board member and executive vice chairman, as president and interim chief executive, the company said in a late Tuesday filing.
Seemab succeeds Muhammad Umair, who has resigned as president and CEO, but not as an employee, the company said.
There are ongoing talks about Umair taking on a new role with the company, Children's Place said, adding Umair will stay as a member of the board.
