Airbus secured a contract to deliver 10 H125 helicopters to the aviation wing of U.S. border enforcement, which will be deployed for law enforcement operations across the country.

The aerospace company finalised a contract for the purchase of 10 H125 helicopters by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations. The aircraft will be used to support critical law enforcement, border security, and public safety missions across the U.S.

The H125 is a single-engine helicopter specifically designed for high-altitude, high-heat environments, and is often used for aerial work, emergency medical services, passenger transport and tourism.

While Airbus is a European-based company, the helicopters will be built at Airbus's manufacturing facility in Columbus, Miss.
