China Southern Airlines (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) said the Shanghai Stock Exchange accepted its application for the proposed issue of up to 5.44 billion new China-listed shares to a maximum of 35 specific investors.
The issue is subject to approval from the bourse and registration go-ahead from the CSRC.
The company will make further announcements as and when needed.
