MUFG Bank (MUFG) has backed Turing's $79 million Series A extension financing round, providing a $36 million loan facility and participating in a $43 million equity investment alongside investors including AMD Ventures (AMD), Mitsubishi, Super Micro Computer (SMCI) and others, the Japanese autonomous driving startup said Monday.
Turing said it will use the proceeds to expand computing infrastructure, scale commercial operations, and hire staff to support development of its end-to-end autonomous driving system.
