Amplitech Shares Keep Climbing on Buyback Plan

Dow Jones07-07

Shares of AmpliTech Group are continuing this year's hot streak after the company said it would buy back up to $10 million in stock and end its at-the-market equity offering.

The stock was up 5.7% at $6.26 on Tuesday. Shares have more than doubled since the start of the year.

The maker of advanced radio frequency and microwave components said before the opening bell that its board has authorized the repurchase of up to $10 million in common stock over the next two years.

AmpliTech has also terminated its at-the-market equity-offering program, which it said went untapped.

The company's current balance sheet and expected operating performance provide enough resources to fund growth efforts without issuing more equity, AmpliTech said.
