Major digital assets were weaker Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holding above the $63,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, fell 1.1% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq fell 2%, the S&P 500 declined 0.6%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.3%.
Bitcoin fell slightly to $63,748, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume dropped 12.7% to $32.33 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, declined 0.3% to $1,788.
XRP (XRP-USD) lost 2.3%, BNB (BNB-USD) shed 0.4%, and Solana (SOL-USD) decreased 0.8%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) dropped 2.9%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) fell 3.4%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.529% at 3 p.m. ET Tuesday, up from 4.479% Monday, while the five-year yield fell to 4.255% from 4.338%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry fell 0.3% in the past 24 hours to $2.19 trillion, with trading volume dropping 12.6% to $75.37 billion.
