Taihan Cable & Solution (KRX:001440) secured a turnkey project to build a power grid for an AI data center for Australia's largest electricity transmission network operator, Transgrid, the cable maker said in a Wednesday release.
The contract is valued at 45 billion won, according to the release.
Under the contract, Taihan will design and build a 330-kilovolt extra-high-voltage cable system on a turnkey basis to provide a stable, large-scale power supply to the AI data facility.
Shares of Taihan Cable & Solution fell over 7% in recent trade.
