Cadiz (CDZI) said Friday the US Bureau of Land Management approved a right-of-way grant allowing the company to start converting its Northern Pipeline from natural gas to water transportation.
The 220-mile pipeline will move water from the Mojave Groundwater Bank to communities within California's San Bernardino County, the company said.
The authorization lasts for 50 years and supports the finalization of project funding with potential investors, it added.
