Amazon.com Closes $24.92 Billion in Debt Offerings

Amazon.com (AMZN) closed the sale of eight tranches of debt worth $24.92 billion, the company said late Thursday.

The debt notes included $750 million floating rate notes due 2029, $3.5 billion of 4.6% notes due 2029, $4.25 billion of 4.8% notes due 2031, $3 billion of 5.1% notes due 2033, $4.5 billion of 5.3% notes due 2036, $2.75 billion of 6.0% notes due 2046, $4 billion of 6.1% notes due 2056, and $2.25 billion of 6.25% notes due 2066, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Net proceeds from the offerings totalled $24.87 billion, the company said.
