0843 GMT - Mercedes-Benz shares didn't significantly react to global car sales falling 8% in the second quarter, highlighting the market's very low expectations, Citi analysts write. "We believe investors will await either positive EBIT margin evidence, or a resumption of the buyback, before re-engaging," the bank says. The company sold 2,000 fewer cars in the second quarter than in the first, suggesting another weak margin after the 4.1% reported in the first quarter, Citi adds. Van sales rose 1% to 94,000 units and the division should have another solid quarter with a near 10% margin. Citi rates the stock at neutral with a 51 euro target price. Shares in the German automaker fall 0.2% to 44.02 euros. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
