美光科技计划投资最高30亿美元，以加强美国半导体供应链生态系统，其中包括为环球晶圆位于得克萨斯州谢尔曼的300毫米晶圆厂提供5亿美元融资支持。美光提供5亿美元融资，环球晶圆提供300毫米原生硅晶圆制造产能。美光与环球晶圆将就原生硅晶圆产能签订为期10年的供应协议。
