Flex (FLEX) and Cerebras Systems (CBRS) said Thursday they have expanded their manufacturing partnership to boost production of Cerebras' CS-3 AI accelerator systems, at Flex plants in Milpitas, California.
The move is expected to increase CS-3 production capacity by about 7 times this year, backed by new production lines and additional floor space, the companies said.
Financial details were not provided.
Flex shares were up past 6% in Thursday trading, and Cerebras rose 4.7%.
