AEON Credit Service (M)'s (KLSE:AEONCR) profit attributable to shareholders jumped 23% to 95.2 million ringgit in the fiscal first quarter ended May 31, from 77.5 million ringgit a year earlier.
Basic earnings per share jumped to 0.1864 ringgit from 0.1519 ringgit a year ago, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.
Revenue grew 8% to 647.6 million ringgit from 600.0 million ringgit a year ago, the department store operator said.
The board did not recommend a dividend for the period.
