Trekor Metals' shares jumped after the Canadian company stuck with its 2026 production guidance following a rise in copper output and sales in the latest quarter.

In morning trading Tuesday, the shares were 9.8% higher at C$10.94, widening the year-to-date advance to 41%.

Trekor said its Gibraltar mine in British Columbia produced 30.3 million pounds of copper and 559,000 pounds of molybdenum in the second quarter. Copper sales for the three months totaled 32.2 million pounds.

That compares with the 30 million pounds of copper and 717,000 pounds of molybdenum produced the quarter before, and sales of 27 million pounds of copper.

Trekor's Florence copper operation in Arizona ramped up during the quarter, with 5.2 million pounds of copper cathode produced. Florence Copper's plant started up in mid-February, the operation produced 1.5 million pounds in the last five weeks of the first quarter.

The company said annual copper guidance remains unchanged for Gibraltar to produce between 110 million and 115 million pounds and Florence 30 million to 35 million pounds.
