Voyager Technologies (VOYG) said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Astrobotic Technology and that it is adding $298 million in new contract value that was not part of the company's profile when Voyager announced its acquisition.
The contract is part of NASA's Moon Base program that includes the CS-8 competitive procurement under the existing Commercial Lunar Payload Services indefinite delivery, indefinite-quantity framework, the company said.
Under the contract award, Voyager's Peregrine-2 is slated to launch in 2028 and deliver a suite of three NASA-directed payloads to a landing site near the Gruithuisen Domes on the near side of the Moon, the company added.
