HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KRX:009540) won an order for three very large ammonia carriers (VLACs) from a European shipowner, according to a Monday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The deal is valued at 545.6 billion won. The shipbuilder will deliver the product carrier vessels by May 31, 2030.
Shares of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
