Dow Jones07-13 17:22

SK Hynix (KR:000660): The chipmaker's Korean shares sank more than 15%, its biggest one-day drop on record, as investors cashed out after its ADRs' Nasdaq debut on Friday sparked a price rally. Its peer Samsung Electronics (KR: 005930) also slumped.

Nvidia (NVDA), Applied Materials $(AMAT)$, Micron Technology $(MU)$, Marvell Technology $(MRVL)$, Intel $(INTC)$, Advanced Micro Devices $(AMD)$: The U.S. chip stocks fell premarket as investors weigh risk in the AI sector.

Nippon Paint (JP: 4612): The Japanese paints company made an $8.6 billion bid to buy Akzo Nobel (NL:AKZA)'s decorative-paints business, its latest move to prevent a tie-up between Akzo and U.S. rival Axalta Coating Systems $(AXTA)$. Akzo shares rose in Amsterdam.
