Fujitsu Teams Up With Japan's Robotics Majors for Physical AI Push

Fujitsu (TYO:6702) has partnered with robotics companies Fanuc (TYO:6954), Yaskawa Electric (TYO:6506), and Kawasaki Heavy Industries (TYO:7012) to delve into opportunities in robotics-powered physical AI, according to a Thursday statement.

Under this effort, the companies plan to develop a collaborative control platform that uses technology from chip producer NVIDIA.

The cooperation also aims to foster an environment where "humans and robots coexist and collaborate" while boosting Japan's industrial competitiveness, Fujitsu said.

The collaboration will cover sectors such as manufacturing, retail, logistics and health care.
