UnitedHealth, Abbott Laboratories And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Thursday

With U.S. stock futures trading mixed this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH) to post quarterly earnings of $4.84 per share on revenue of $110.81 billion before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. UnitedHealth shares fell 0.6% to $415.90 in after-hours trading.
  • J B Hunt Transport Services Inc. (NASDAQ:JBHT) posted upbeat results for the second quarter. JB Hunt Transport reported quarterly earnings of $1.91 per share, which beat the analyst estimate of $1.71 by 11.7%, according to Benzinga Pro data. Quarterly revenue came in at $3.5 billion, which beat the Street estimate of $3.24 billion and was up from $2.93 billion in the same period last year. J B Hunt shares jumped 7.9% to $298.14 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT) to post quarterly earnings of $1.28 per share on revenue of $12.50 billion. The bank will release earnings before the markets open. Abbott shares gained 0.5% to $89.70 in after-hours trading.

  • Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (NYSE:TSM) posted better-than-expected earnings and sales results for the second quarter. TSMC shares gained 08% to $423.00 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect GE Aerospace (NYSE:GE) to post quarterly earnings of $1.86 per share on revenue of $11.83 billion before the opening bell. General Electric shares declined 0.1% to $360.25 in after-hours trading.
