China Medical System (HKG:0867, SGX:8A8) obtained approval from China's National Medical Products Administration for the clinical trial of the self-developed complement factor B inhibitor CMS-D017 capsules, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Under the approval, the pharmaceutical company can now conduct trials to evaluate the drug's safety and efficacy for treating age-related macular degeneration.
