Richemont's Print Could Lift Consensus

Dow Jones07-15

0634 GMT - Richemont's first-quarter sales update should prompt significant upward revisions to consensus estimates for fiscal year 2027, analysts at Bernstein write in a research note. The owner of Cartier and other high-end brands booked sales of 6.33 billion euros for the quarter ended June 30, ahead of analysts' forecasts of 5.89 billion euros, according to a Visible Alpha consensus. The company smashed expectations after a strong start to the year, the brokerage says. Organic growth for the group came in at 20%, against expectations of 11%, the analysts say.
