Seamec (NSE:SEAMECLTD, BOM:526807) has signed a $5.21 million contract with Lamprell Energy to charter its barge, SEAMEC GLORIOUS, according to a Wednesday filing on the Indian bourses.
The barge will provide offshore accommodation and hook-up support for Oil and Natural Gas' (NSE:ONGC, BOM:500312) projects in the Mumbai High & West Coast Offshore region.
The contract will run for 180 days, with an option to extend, and is scheduled to begin between Oct. 15 and Oct. 31.
Seamec shares rose 2% in recent trade.
