Shares of SOBR Safe plummeted after the company said it entered into agreements to immediately exercise certain outstanding warrants at a reduced price.
Shares dropped 49% to $1.06 a share in after-hours trading. The stock closed up 77% at $2.07, and was down 3.3% this year.
The warrants to purchase up to 2.36 million shares, issued in December, originally had an exercise price of $1.30 a share.
SOBR Safe also said it is issuing around 2.36 million Series E warrants and 2.36 million Series F warrants, each with an exercise price of $1.30 a share.
The company expects to raise about $3.1 million in gross proceeds from the offerings. Net proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes, including supporting its agreement to merge with Clean World Ventures.
