Bunker Hill Mining Names Bradley Barnett Permanent Chief Financial Officer

Bunker Hill Mining has named Bradley Barnett as chief financial officer on a permanent basis, solidifying the company's efforts to concentrate its leadership team in the U.S.

Barnett stepped into the role of interim finance chief in March following the resignation of Gerbrand Van Heerden, who left to return home to South Africa. Barnett, a U.S. citizen, was one of the three founding members of the company's new management team who in 2020 arrived in Idaho's Silver Valley where Bunker Hill Mining is working to return the historic Bunker Hill Mine to production.

The company said it additionally appointed Mark Hayes as general counsel, effective Aug. 10, 2026.

Hayes most recently served as head of legal for Nuton, Rio Tinto's copper leaching technology venture.

The company's Bunker Hill Mine, which produces silver, zinc, and lead concentrates, is advancing toward commercial production after roughly 45 years of closure and remediation.
