RTX's (RTX) Pratt & Whitney business has acquired Aiir Innovations and integrated the latter's artificial intelligence-backed borescope software into its engine inspection portfolio, according to a Wednesday statement.
No financial details were disclosed.
Pratt & Whitney said it has already applied the borescope technology on the V2500 engine and plans to expand its use across the company.
