ASX Posts 45% Jump in New Listings in Fiscal 2026, IPO Capital Raised Remains Flat

ASX (ASX:ASX) said a total of 100 new entities were listed in fiscal 2026, up 45% on fiscal 2025, with new listings adding AU$32.6 billion in quoted market capitalization, up 86% on the prior year, according to a Thursday report by the stock exchange.

ASX said total net new capital quoted was AU$37.1 billion, compared with AU$35.6 billion in fiscal 2025, with initial public offering (IPO) capital raised totaling AU$5.6 billion, flat on last year but above the five-year average of AU$4.9 billion.

The top three IPOs by capital raised were HMC Digital Infrastructure (ASX:DGT) at AU$1.99 billion, GemLife Group (ASX:GLF) at AU$750 million, and Virgin Australia Holdings (ASX:VGN) at AU$685 million, ASX added.

The exchange operator's shares rose 2% in recent Thursday trade.
