J.B. Hunt Transport Services reported growing revenue and a higher profit in the second quarter, driven by revenue growth across nearly all of its business segments. The company's largest segment, its intermodal business, reported sales growth of 22%, while its integrated capacity solutions sector had a 49% increase. The stock rose 8.2% to $298.80 in late trading.
United Airlines raised its annual profit outlook on the back of strong revenue trends that are easing the pain of volatile fuel prices. The carrier said it expects $6 billion in added fuel expense this year compared with what it expected at the start of 2026. Carriers have boosted fares and cut back on flying to cope with pricier fuel, and United said it expects to be able to recover 80% to 90% of the increase. The stock fell 2.6% to $117.80 after market close.
SOBR Safe said it entered into agreements to immediately exercise certain outstanding warrants at a reduced price. The warrants to purchase up to 2.36 million shares, issued in December, originally had an exercise price of $1.30 a share. The stock dropped 50% to $1.03 in after-hours trading.
