European Investors' Risk Appetite is Improving, Bofa Survey Says

Dow Jones07-15 20:08

1207 GMT - European equities are expected to rise over the next few months by a majority of investors, according to Bank of America's European fund manager survey for July. A net 54% of European investors think the continent's stocks will rise in the short term, while 91% expect stocks to rise over the next 12 months, the survey says. Investors are increasingly confident that stocks sensitive to economic growth will outperform more defensive sectors, the survey finds. Fears around inflation persist, however. "Middle East instability remains the dominant geopolitical concern" for European investors, Bank of America says. (josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
