Warsh: We're Going to Keep Politics Out of the Fed

When pressed by Rep. Gregory Meeks (D., N.Y.) about whether the Federal Reserve chairman would cave to any presidential pressure over monetary policy, Kevin Warsh pledges to "follow the law and follow the data."
The Fed has to "shut the door and make the very best decision" at its policy meetings, Warsh says. "We're going to keep politics out of the Fed."
